Big Voice Choir
Big Voice is more than a place to sing. It is a talking, listening and singing community where people can explore what is happening around them — from everyday local stories to bigger questions about hope, inequality, social change and belonging. Janet Swain’s vision is to create something imaginative, resilient and a little feisty: a choir that feels more like a friendly vocal gang than a traditional singing group.
There is no single agenda. It is about making space for conversation, listening to different perspectives and reaching a place where everyone can sing with knowledge, understanding and conviction. “A chance to talk and a chance to act, singing the stuff we want and need to talk about.”
