EMOM: Northern Rivers

EMOM - Electronic Music Open Mic began in Manchester in 2017 and has since spread to cities around the world, including both Sydney and the Northern Rivers locally. It is a community-first monthly night designed to provide a meeting and performance space for electronic artists of all styles and persuasions.

All skill levels are encouraged, from those performing for the first time through to established acts. Artists are invited to pre-register and typically perform 15-20 minute sets. This allows each EMOM night to host 6-8 performances.

A typical night might include anything from improvised techno jams on modular systems to ambient music, hip-hop beatmakers on SP-404’s, DAW-less sequencing and analogue and digital performances of all kinds.

The Dingo Festival showcase will include extended 30min sets per performer.
